About

As a team we know there are many reasons as to why people support this great charity.

Everyone within this group has seen how cancer can effect loved ones and we recognise how it impacts many, many people within our area. The Dougie Mac (DM) have supported ours and many families at important times, offering support, advice and care when required.

The charity is very close to all our hearts and many of the team support the DM every year helping raise vital funds that can help with the services they offer.

Over the course of this year members of the team will be taking part in challenges/events to fund raise for the charity. We kick off with the Stafford Half Marathon in March, a distance never run before by those taking part, this is followed by the Dougie Mac 100 and 65 mile bike ride in May. In June 4 of the team will then complete the Coast 2 Coast bike ride 160 miles across country then in July 6 of us will complete the 3 Peaks of Cumbria. The penultimate event will be the Dougie Mac 10k in September and we wil end the year with as many friends and family completing the 5 mile Xmas Dougie Max trek.

Please support us with any type of contribution that can help us achieve our fundraising target and if you wish to get involved, the more the merrier.

Many thanks for your support and our commitment is to train hard for the events, whilst raising as much money as possible.
